Mission
The purpose of the PTA is to promote the welfare of children in the home, school, and community, raise the standards of home life, secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children, bring into closer relation the home and the school, and develop united efforts between educators and the public to secure the highest advantages in physical, mental and social education for all children.
Funds from the PTA Make the Following Possible
- Zero or reduced cost educational field trips for Wilson's students

Family and student activities including the Fall Festival, Paint Night, Spring Fling, School Photos, and Yearbooks
- Teacher and Staff Appreciation Events
- Supplemental educational programs and resources for students including "Text Talk," "Keep on Reading Science," and numerous reading books
- Investments in technology including tablets
