Student Manual

The Student Manual is designed to provide rules, expectations, and consequences for student behavior. Students and parents/guardians have the responsibility to know and respect the rules as described in the Student Manual.
We ask that you review the Student Manual with your child and have a discussion regarding school expectations. Please see link below to access the current Student Manual.
Students and parents must sign the Student Manual Acknowledgement Form to acknowledge that they have read and understand the contents of the Christina School District Student Manual and ALL approved policies referenced and included in that document.
District Policy
The Board of Education, working with District administration and parents/guardians, adopts and reviews policies. All policies are available on the District website. A full list of polices is available anytime on the Board Portal for transparency and easy access.
Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Federal law (FERPA) permits the district to release directory information under limited circumstances. If you wish to opt-out of the district releasing this information or including your child in articles and photos, please click the link below.
Title IX & Section 504
Federal law prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin (Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964); sex (Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972); or disability (Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990) in educational programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance.
Title I
Title I is the largest Federally funded program supporting academically at risk students in public and private schools. Through Title I, the Federal government allocates funds to school districts around the country based on the number of low-income families in each district.
Parents Rights to Know -- Teacher Qualifications
Christina School District believes all students should be taught by highly qualified staff in all of our schools. Parents have a right to know if their child's teacher meets these standards. Federal Law ensures this right for parents who have children in schools that receive funds from the federal Title I program.
